Orientation Snapshot

The UNSW orientation experience is designed to help you discover and understand a variety of information that will help you successfully integrate into the University of New South Wales community.

There are various activities that you can be involved in as part of your orientation including face to face training, using the UNSW Online Orientation, involvement in Faculty/Division specific orientation and induction programs; job shadowing, working with a mentor, individual meetings and discussions, involvement in social occasions and self exploration.

Your orientation may be formally structured or it may be on a more self-directed basis if this is more appropriate to your role.

Responsibility for Induction

The responsibility for your successful induction lies with you and your supervisor. Do not hesitate to ask your supervisor for help with your induction.
