3.1 Consultation Structure and Processes

WHY The organisation must consult with employees to contribute to the making of decisions affecting their health, safety and welfare at work.
WHAT UNSW has established an OHS Consultation Procedure describing OHS consultation arrangements.
HOW
  • Each Faculty and Division must establish their OHS consultation structure according to the OHS Consultation Procedure.
  • All consultation on OHS issues that will affect the health, safety and welfare of staff must be addressed by the established consultation structure.
