Staff Networks The Technical Support and Development Network grew out of a Staff Development forum for Technical Staff held in April 2000. This is an active group of technical staff from around the University that organise development events and support services for all technical and related staff.

The Administration Network has been established to facilitate communication and collaboration amongst administrative staff at UNSW. The aim of AdminNet is to provide a means of networking for administrative staff at UNSW, to facilitate resource sharing and improve the profile and development of administrative staff within the University.

ALLY Network
UNSW has launched a new initiative called the ALLY program aimed at creating a more supportive and inclusive culture for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and questioning heterosexual (GLBTQIQH) students and staff.
ALLY is a joint initiative of the Student Equity and Disabilities Unit, Human Resources and is supported by Arc.
ALLY@UNSW is an active network that meets regularly to discuss issues, host guest speakers and events, and remain in touch with GLBTQIQH issues that impact on staff and students at UNSW.
Volunteer staff and student leaders must undergo training to become Allies. Allies are a cross-section of the UNSW community who affirm the rights and experiences of GLBTQIQH people, challenge homophobic and heterosexist values as well as acting as a confidential referral point for students and staff.
