Marg O'Shaughnessy Marg O'Shaughnessy, Leadership and Management Manager
Marg joined UNSW as a Leadership and Management Consultant in November 2006, bringing with her a breadth of experience in the leadership and management development, performance management and learning and development fields.

Marg is passionate about leadership and management development and sees it as a vehicle to drive genuine organisational change. She sees an integrated approach linking performance management, talent and succession planning and management development/assessment to core management capabilities, as the key to success.
The outcomes of this integrated approach are that the development of supervisors/managers is more targeted, resulting in individuals feeling more confident and competent in their roles, and ultimately leading to improved performance. It also makes good business sense, as it help to align both individual and organisational goals.
Marg holds a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of New England and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She is also accredited in Myers Briggs, Team Management Index and Situational Leadership.
