How to Register

UNSW Staff
All UNSW staff can now register for training through MyUNSW.
Log into MyUNSW and select the Training Registration Option under 'my staff profile' or download the Registration Guide  for more information.
 
 
UNSW Affiliates - Professional Skills Development
UNSW Affiliates should register using the OSDS Online Training Registration Form

Service Committment and Cancellation Policy

 
At OSDS we partner with you to ensure your professional development meets your needs and those of UNSW.
 
When you attend our course/s, we endeavour to:
  • provide you with a professional service at all times
  • attend promptly and courteously to your requests for information or assistance
  • accommodate any special needs you have told us about
 
When attending training you can expect that:
  • the course objectives and outcomes described in the course outline are met
  • the course is well structured, delivered and paced
  • the examples used are relevant to UNSW
  • you will gain information, knowledge and/or skills that can be applied in your work
  • your experience is respected and drawn upon
  • your feedback is noted and used to improve future courses
 
You can expect the course presenter/s to:
  • communicate clearly and courteously
  • demonstrate sound knowledge of the topic
  • maintain confidentiality
  • be well prepared and punctual
  • appropriately involve all participants
 
We ask that you:
  • attend 10 minutes before scheduled start time
  • be committed to the entire program
  • complete any pre-work if requested
  • complete workplace transfer projects or other activities as requested
  • engage enthusiastically with other learners and the facilitator
 
Cancellations and No Shows
  • be aware that your Faculty/Department will be charged an administration fee of $50 if you do not attend or if you do not advise of non attendance within 3 working days of the course commencement
 
Latecomers
  • latecomers will not be admitted 30 minutes after scheduled course start time
 

 
 


Privacy Notice

Privacy Notice
The information collected by OSDS through the registration form and through the NSS HR system is used in a de-identified form for training analysis, reporting and planning purposes within the University. Statistical de-identified data may also be disclosed to the University's external auditors.

Any information collected relating to an individuals' training attendance is held by OSDS for a 30 year period and then destroyed in accordance with the requirements of the State Records Act (NSW)1998.

It is a requirement by the University that, upon request by your supervisor or manager, Human Resources Coordinator or OHS Coordinator in your local area, OSDS supply information about an individuals course attendance.
 
Photographs taken during sessions may be used for marketing purposes.
