Rostered Days Off (38 hpw Staff)

Rostered Days Off (RDO) for 38 Hour Per Week General Staff Working the 19 Day/4 Week Roster at UNSW Campuses in NSW

In a 20-day/4 week period, full-time 38 hour per week staff may work either:

1. 7.6 hours each  20 days of the 20 day period (plus a minimum of 30 minutes unpaid time each day for a lunch break) - 7.6 hours multiplied by 20 days equals 152 hours;
Or
2. 8.0 hours each 19 days of the 20 day period (plus a minimum of 30 minutes unpaid time each day for a lunch break) - 8 hours multiplied by 19 days equals 152 hours.

Management sets the daily hours worked by 38-hour staff according to operational needs of the particular work unit.

The fixed roster will generally apply to full-time 38-hour staff working an 8-hour day in
