Advertising Deadlines

Marketing Services will be responsible for coordinating and placement of all media advertising.

Tuesday 10am

All advertising requests should be sent to Marketing Services

Tuesday 5pm – Wednesday 5pm

Marketing Services will liaise with HRC’s to finalise any additional details

Thursday 10am

Marketing Services will provide proofs to all advertising (no additions or deletions at this time)

Thursday 4pm

All advertising will be submitted to media

Weekly Recruitment Advertising Process

Submission to Faculty HR Consultant  no later than close of business Friday prior to MONDAY 1. Early discussion with HRC strongly recommended.
 
MONDAY 1:
 
HR Consultant:
  • Checks documentation
  • Evaluates position description
  • Advises on pay & conditions
  • Advises on Recruitment Strategy
  1. Recruitment agencies (in consultation with Senior Recruitment)
  2. Specialist Websites
  • Adds Codes & generates REF No.
  • Ensures correct salary and superannuation
  • Reviews and submits business case for ET approval (where applicable)
  • Ensures WEBAD content finalised including closing date.
Documentation for internally-funded positions go to Executive Team on MONDAY 2 for approval.
 
Documentation for externally funded positions and WEBADs go straight to Recruitment Officer for Jobs@UNSW uploading by Friday.
 
Faculty HR Consultant  to forward Media print and/or website ads to Marketing Services.
 
MONDAY 2:

HR Consultant notified of ET decision for internally-funded positions.
 
Documentation and WEBADs for these internally-funded positions then go straight to Recruitment Officer for Jobs@UNSW.
 
HR Consultants forward Media print ads to Marketing Services.
