Associate Professor - Pharmacology

The School of Medical Sciences is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor of Pharmacology who will take an active role in the School's research program, and teach across the Pharmacology discipline within the School. This represents an opportunity to join a group of dynamic researchers and to contribute to curriculum development across both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
The School of Medical Sciences (Anatomy, Pathology, Pharmacology and Physiology) features excellent facilities for research with a strong focus on international collaboration and research-led teaching. In addition to providing research leadership, the successful applicant would be encouraged to promote multidisciplinary research.
Membership of a University approved superannuation scheme is a condition of employment. Women and people from equity groups are encouraged to apply.
The salary range for Associate Professor is A$101,758 - A$111,775 per year. Associate Professors may undertake a limited amount of paid outside work. In addition to base salary, an appointee with medical qualifications registrable in New South Wales will receive a clinical loading of A$22,837 per year. This is a full time, continuing position available from July 2007.
