Salary Level 6: A$62K - A$66K per year (plus up to 9% employer superannuation plus leave loading).
 
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Research Officer at the Black Dog Institute, the School of Psychiatry, to co-ordinate a study evaluating a self-help tool for people with depression, anxiety and stress delivered via mobile phones and computers.  The incumbent will also be involved with concurrent studies of a related nature.   

Duties include the writing of a research protocol and ethics application, searching background literature, recruiting research participants, managing data collection, co-coordinating the study on a day-to-day basis, analysing data, and writing research papers. 
 
The successful applicant will have strong writing and research skills, will be experienced in working with people with mental health issues, and will be able to work both autonomously as well as in a team.  The position is located at the Black Dog Institute, Randwick. 
 
This is a full-time, fixed term position for 1 year. The successful applicant may be required to undertake a criminal record check.
