Clinical Project Leader (Lecturer)

FIXED TERM: Salary Level B:A$76K - A$90K (plus 17% employer superannuation plus leave loading)
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced research leader to guide the development of research projects focused on sexually transmissible and blood borne infections within Aboriginal primary health care settings. This is an opportunity for the right person to become a part our dynamic team of research leaders based at the National Centre for HIV Epidemiology and Clinical Research (NCHECR). The project will see the creation of a Centre for Clinical Research Excellence (CCRE) a new virtual organisation, a collaboration between NCHECR and the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO).
The successful applicant will have a PhD or medical degree and experience in the management of research programs in clinical and/or public health environment. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential for this role as are good leadership and time management skills. This project involves liaising with five urban and regional Aboriginal communities, so experience in this area would be beneficial.
This is a two year fixed term, full time appointment with the possibility of extension on dependant on funding and need. The successful applicant may be required to undertake a criminal record check.
