Projects Leader in Mass Spectrometry

BIOANALYTICAL MASS SPECTROMETRY FACILITY

Fixed Term: Salary Level 8: A $71K - A$80K per year (plus up to 17% employer superannuation plus leave loading).
A full time position is available for an experienced scientist with skills in biological mass spectrometry and protein separation. The successful candidate will take leadership roles in a team of expert scientists at the Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometry Facility (BMSF), undertaking collaborative and contract research with leading international, national and local research groups.
The successful applicant will coordinate research staff and supervise the development of advanced analytical technologies to enable research in medicine, molecular & life sciences and engineering. The successful applicant will be required to train postgraduate/undergraduate students in these areas of specialization.
This is a fixed term position for three years, with excellent prospects for renewal and advancement in a research based career using advanced mass spectrometry.
