The School of Psychology is seeking to make a fixed-term fractional academic appointment in organisational psychology. The fractional component is negotiable up to 60%. The successful applicant will teach courses and supervise research projects, and will also have the opportunity to carry out independent research.

The School of Psychology at UNSW is located in the Faculty of Science and is recognised nationally and internationally for its excellence in research and teaching. It is a leading Australian Psychology department on quality measures such as research publications and competitive grant funding. The School has well equipped research and teaching facilities and offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs that attract outstanding students from Australia and overseas. UNSW is located 5 km from the centre of Sydney and is close to other research centres, teaching hospitals, transport, shopping, and beaches.

The salary range for Lecturer is A$73,573 - A$86,734 per year and Senior Lecturer is A$89,362 - A$102,523 per year (plus 17% employer superannuation plus leave loading), depending on qualifications and experience. The salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

This is a fixed term fractional position for three years, commencing February 2009.
