Salary Level 5/6: A$57K - A$72K per year (plus up to 17% employer superannuation plus leave loading).
UNSW Sport and Recreation is a department of the University responsible for the promotion and management of sport and recreation services for the University community. The department has five operational areas - Sport Services, Programs, Marketing, Operations and Business Management, and delivers health, fitness, sport and recreation programs and manages an extensive array of sporting facilities at UNSW's Kensington campus.
Within the Programs area, UNSW Sport and Recreation runs a very busy Learn to Swim and Swim Squad program in the indoor 50m pool located in the Fitness and Aquatic Centre.
The Head Swim Coach is responsible for developing and maintaining a high quality competitive squad swimming program and will plan and supervise training for multiple squad levels to best prepare swimmers of different ages, abilities, and competition goals to achieve their potential.
We are seeking a Swim Coach who can develop and implement a training environment that allows for swimmers to progress from Club and State level competitions to success at the National level.
This is a fulltime continuing position with a 38-hour week.
