The UNSW Faculty of Law is seeking an outstanding public lawyer to work as the Director of Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law to build on and develop further the Centre's role in leading public debate through research into key contemporary issues.

The appointment will be made at the level of Professor or Associate Professor as appropriate. The salary range for a Professor is $133,400, with possible addition from a performance-based Professorial Supplementation Scheme. The salary range for Associate Professor is $104,301 to $114,569.
The appointment will be for a renewable term of five years. The Directorship carries a half teaching load in theLaw School. At the end of the term, subject to satisfactory performance, the Director will be offered a continuing research and teaching position in the Faculty.
