FIXED TERM - Salary level 4/5: A$48K -A$60K per year (plus 9% employer superannuation plus leave loading)
 
Student Recruitment & Scholarships is a new unit reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Students), and consists of the Student Recruitment Office, UNSW Scholarships and the UNSW Co-op Program.  The Administrative Assistant will support UNSW Scholarships and the UNSW Co-op Program.
 
There are currently more than 1500 undergraduate scholarships and more than 450 Co-op scholars at UNSW. The UNSW Co-op Program was set up by industry and UNSW to provide money and industry training for selected undergraduate students in the disciplines of Commerce, Science, the Built Environment and Engineering. UNSW Scholarships administers both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework scholarships.
 
The successful applicant will provide clerical support for the Unit and ensure order and efficiency in the workflow of an extremely busy and varied office. The successful applicant will also need to provide accurate information about a variety of Scholarships to prospective students, parents, scholars, academics and representatives from industry.
 
This is a fixed term position for ten months.
