The Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Research Facility (AMMRF) was established through the Commonwealth Government's NCRIS program to provide the peak Australian facility for nanometric analysis of the structure and chemistry of materials. The facility specializes in applications of materials characterization, with a focus on microscopy, imaging, analysis and diffraction. The facility will create collaborations so as to explore and define the structure-function relationships that enable innovation in nanotechnology and biotechnology.
An outstanding opportunity now exists for an excellent researcher to take-up an appointment as a research associate in the AMMRF's UNSW node, with particular responsibility for prosecuting research programs, including collaborative projects with many of the unit's client groups.
The successful applicant will have substantial experience in a range of microscopy techniques including, but not limited to, SEM, TEM and SPM and evidence of contributions to published research in high impact journals.
Applicants should systematically address the selection criteria in their application.
Having read all the documentation you may then direct any enquiries Professor Paul Munroe on (61 2) 9385 4435 or p.munroe@unsw.edu.au
