Salary Level: Level 8 A$75K - A$84K per year, commensurate with experience (plus 9% employer superannuation and leave loading)

Applications are invited for the position of Communications & Media Manager at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre. This position is responsible for the development and management of internal and external communications strategies for the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre and related activities aimed at maintaining and further developing the high profile of the Centre and its work amongst a range of target audiences.

The successful applicant will be responsible for responding to media issues and enquiries, developing and maintaining strong communication links with key stakeholders and actively promoting the work of the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre through a range of initiatives.

The position is full-time with appointment for an initial year with excellent prospects for renewal.
