Associate Lecturer

Salary Level A: A$54K - A$73K paid pro rata (plus 17% employer superannuation plus leave loading).
 
The School of Banking and Finance is seeking to appoint two fixed-term fractional (50%) Associate Lecturer positions commencing 2010 within the Australian School of Business. The positions are for well-qualified individuals eligible to be enrolled in a PhD in Banking and Finance at UNSW or currently enrolled and studying in the PhD program in the School of Banking and Finance at UNSW.
Banking and Finance is a major school within the Australian School of Business. It has distinguished Honors, Masters, and PhD programs in finance, Australia's highest ranking MBA program, and attracts some of the best students in Australia and abroad. It is highly ranked in both research and teaching.

The successful applicant is expected to be able to teach, hold tutorials and provide student consultation; allocate staff and students to tutorials and administer the tutorial program; as well as having an understanding of equity and diversity principles; and have knowledge of OHS responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant OHS training.
 
These are fixed-term fractional (50%) positions initially for two years with the possibility of renewal for a further year.
 
Application requirements include a current CV, proof of teaching experience and teaching evaluations and three reference letters from individuals who are familiar with the work of the applicant.
