Salary Level 3: A$42K - A$47K per year (plus up to 17% employer superannuation plus leave loading).
UNSW Sport and Recreation is a department of the University responsible for the promotion and management of sport and recreation services for the University community. The department has five operational areas - Sport Services, Programs, Marketing, Operations and Business Management, and delivers health, fitness, sport and recreation programs and manages an extensive array of sporting facilities.
The department provides a broad range of services to the University and local community with over 400,000 visitations yearly. Located at the University's Kensington campus, it services a busy aquatic centre, gym, group fitness program, and a range of other sporting facilities.
The Customer Relations Officer (Training & Administration Assistant) provides the first point of contact for all patrons entering the centre, and assists them with a range of products and services including membership sales. The position is also responsible for the training for all new staff and assisting the Customer Relations Supervisor with administration tasks.
This is a full time continuing position with a 35 hour week. The successful applicant must be available for early morning, evening and weekend shifts.
