Athena SWAN Gender Equity Survey

Thank you for your interest in the Athena SWAN Gender Equity Survey!

The survey is a key component of UNSW’s consultation process on gender equity and diversity issues, providing an opportunity for all staff to have their say about gender in the workplace and priority areas for action. The online survey is being administered by the Voice Project who will manage data collection and undertake analysis and initial reporting on behalf of the UNSW Athena SWAN Pilot Self-Assessment Team, led by Professor Laura Poole-Warren.

All current UNSW staff are invited to participate, including: female / male / other staff; professional and academic;  continuing, fixed-term and casual across all Faculties and Divisions.

The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous and voluntary. The questionnaire explores the following areas:

  • Workplace culture
  • Participation and promotion
  • Training and career development
  • Flexible work
  • Parenting and carer responsibilities

The closing date for the survey is midnight Wednesday 29 March 2017.
